Meet our Lead Consultant:

Meet Fatou Jammeh, the visionary behind Fjammeh Consulting, dedicated to advancing locally led development through effective fundraising strategies. With a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, Fatou has spearheaded fundraising initiatives, securing millions for organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, Africans Rising, and UNICEF Canada.

Beyond her role as a Consultant at the UN World Food Programme, Fatou has lent her expertise to various organizations, including Frontlines and the Bridge Gambia – Diaspora Platform. She’s also volunteered as the Community Lead for Manyatta Network, championing sponsorship efforts within the black and African diaspora communities in Toronto and Ottawa.

Equipped with a Bilingual Degree from York University Glendon Campus, as well as certifications in Inclusion and Philanthropy, and Non-Profit Management from George Brown College, Fatou is continuously expanding her knowledge. Currently pursuing her MSc in Public Policy at SOAS University of London, she remains committed to driving meaningful change on a global scale.

Fluent in English, French, and Mandinka, Fatou’s multicultural background and extensive international experience enrich her approach to fundraising and community engagement. Whether she’s crafting compelling grant proposals or networking with stakeholders, Fatou exudes passion, creativity, and a dedication to building sustainable futures for all.

Meet our Communications Lead

Fatou Lemon graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in December 2023. Her diverse professional background includes serving as the Human Resource Intern in Internal Communications at Cartier, working as an Executive Assistant for the Dean of Libraries at Stony Brook University, and consulting as a mathematics teacher at New Vision Charter High School for the Humanities. Fatou’s dedication to community service is evident from her volunteer work with non-profit organizations like Project Horizon, a domestic violence shelter, and the Rockbridge Area Relief Association, a local food pantry. She plans to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on finance and aspires to leverage her experiences and interests to support the sustainable development of grassroots organizations. She manages the communications and visual design support for all of our clients needs. Fatou is poised to drive success for your consultancy.
